Katy Noftall, Dance Teacher

Katy (ACSC-CICB) has been dancing since the age of three and has always known that she wanted to share her passion for this beautiful art form through teaching. She has been a member of The Dance Centre faculty since 2004. In May, Katy successfully completed her Associate Diploma examination (Cecchetti Ballet). She also has extensive training and teaching experience in many other styles of dance including Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Acro-Jazz, and Contemporary. Katy has taken her knowledge of dance outside of the studio where she has taught at various summer camps in St. John’s. She has also been able to pursue her love of musical theatre through performing in several Peter MacDonald Productions and choreographing several full length musicals for O’Donel High School. Choreography credits include “Back to the 80’s” in 2008, “The Wizard of Oz” in 2010 and “Legally Blonde” in 2012. Katy is very proud to be a member of The Dance Centre faculty and continues to train at various workshops and classes in order to provide quality dance education to her students.
