Katie Prowse

Katie Prowse (NBS TTP (Dip.), ACSC-CICB, AISTD, BA(Hons)) has been dancing at The Dance Centre since she was 4 years old, and started her teaching career in 2011. In 2016, Katie graduated from the National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program where she attained her teaching diploma, her associate with the Cecchetti Society of Canada, and her associate with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.

Katie teaches contemporary, tap, and jazz as well as ballet (although ballet will always be her favourite). She is also an English student at Memorial University, and is starting her masters in the Fall. Katie runs a class for dancers with Parkinson’s disease with the Parkinson Society of NL, and is proud to say she teaches students from ages 2 – 89!
