Kristen Sellars

Kristen Sellars (Associate Diploma CC-CICB) began dancing at Sharon Walsh Dance Studio at the age of 4 and has continued her dance education at The Dance Centre since 1988.

Kristen joined the faculty at The Dance Centre in 1993, teaching various dance disciplines, with ballet being her primary focus as a teacher. She has furthered her education at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, The National Ballet School and Steps on Broadway in New York City.

As a performer, Kristen has participated in various local productions with Kittiwake Dance Theatre and Peter MacDonald Productions. She has also had the pleasure of being able to share her choreographic vision with other local performers including Spirit of Newfoundland Productions and Mosaic Dance Company.

Kristen believes that dance is an art form that allows the dancer to express themselves fully, while building a strong technical base. She looks forward to continuing to share her passion for learning and movement with her students.
